On May 16th we celebrated my 27th birthday!!! I know this is selfish, but I love my birthday! It's the one day a year that I get to myself. I get to choose what I want for breakfast, lunch, and especially dinner! This year my birthday fell on a saturday- and it was perfect. I gave a personal lesson for vb that morning and played sand vb all afternoon long. We went to a Hibachi-style restaurant for dinner and then had a small get together at a friends house. I have to say, this was one of the best birthdays I've had in a while (last year was pretty good, though). I was surrounded by people that I love and make me laugh- and my husband kept me laughing all night long. I hope 28 can top it!

happppy birthday! I'm the same way... i love my birthday and celebrate it for a full month! I just want to give everyone the opportunity to not feel left out in the celebrating, so i try to give them ample time to celebrate with me :) Actually, since you missed out on mine and me on yours, we should celebrate ours together :)
